1980’s Townhouse Revival

Modernizing this beautiful yet dated space with a stunning floor plan, high vaulted ceilings, and a grand central fireplace was a labor of love. By updating old light fixtures, yellowing paint, worn carpet, and dated mirrors, I transformed the home into a fresh, airy environment with clean whites and neutral tones. In the kitchen, new life was given to the existing ceiling-height cabinets by painting them with a fresh coat of white paint, installing chic gold hardware, adding a zellige subway tile backsplash, and veined white quartz countertops. Wall-length mirrors were removed in the dining and over the wet bar, replaced with a full subway tile backsplash, quartz countertops, and gold faucet to match the kitchen. Medium brown LVP with neutral undertones replaced the worn and stained carpet on the main level, highlighting the open concept space and ample natural light. The minimalist foundation now offers a versatile backdrop for introducing vibrant art and unique furnishings, allowing for a dynamic and personalized living space
